    Cross stitch or Counted thread embroidery has its own beauty. I drew the tree shapes and filled out the design with cross stitch. The grained effect of cross stitch suits the texture of trees aptly. Using colours other than green also made a difference.

Kutch work originated in the state of Gujrat. It is a unique form of embroidery and is intricate. It is worked on a grid of crossed threads similar to the maltese cross. It is a bit time consuming but i enjoy this embroidery as one has to be very alert while working the thread through the grid. This embroidery helped me to increase my concentration

Working with seed beads and crystal beads was fun. Hand crafted this bracelet in 2 days. It required about 400 round crystal beads size 4 mm. The combination of silver and golden coloured seed beads give it an glam look. 

THE FINAL APPEARANCE Its worth the efforts.
